This article, Losing face, published in "The Economist", talks about two important airlines such as Virgin Atlantic and British Airways.
Both, use social networks like Facebook or My Space with the objective to be known worldwide and to transmit publicity, although they sometimes can also be a sorce of damaging publicity.
The fact was that some of their employees were posting online information about the company that is not allowed. They have been discovered uploading derogatory comments about the passangers of the plane and its safety standards.
In order to solve this problem, communication specialists insist on companies promoting the right way of using social networks among their workers. So the managers have to put some rules on the Internet use which must be respected.
The best way to avoid this situation is prevention. This one is better the cure.
