Ram Charan was born in 1939 in India. He is a writter and a very prestigious business consultant. After he had studied at his native country, he entered in Harvard University where he finished with an MBA award and a doctorate.
He has been a great help for many important companies all around the world, and has also written influental books like "What The CEO Wants You To Know" or the one we are interested in, "Leadership in the Era of Economic Uncertainty: The New Rules for Getting the Right Things Done in Difficult Times".
Nowadays, he is member of the National Academy of Human Resources.

Mr.Charan gives managers and top executives a piece of advice to face the crisis, including to have more cash money, to try to reduce costs and to reconsider company's main strategy. He also thinks a new way of communication with the workers would help to get out of the crisis. Employers should think what things they can do to improve the situation and get more involved in the company's activity.
